Sinéad Burns is an Occupational Psychologist and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
Sinéad has over 25 years’ experience in Human Resource Management gained within the public, charitable and private sectors and she has extensive Board Level experience.
Sinéad is a Council Member with the General Optical Council, which regulates Optometrists, Opticians and optical businesses throughout the UK and she is a Board Member with the Public Appointments Service in the Republic of Ireland.
Sinéad is also a Lay Magistrate and a Fitness to Practice Panel Member with the Health and Care Professions Council. Sinéad served as Commissioner for Judicial Appointments in Northern Ireland for eight years and is a former Vice Chair of the Pharmaceutical Society of Northern Ireland. She was an Independent Assessor (CPA NI) and served as a Lay Representative with the Northern Ireland Medical and Dental Training Agency.
